Position Summary: The Youth Director supports theCHURCH’s Youth Ministry by coordinating the weekly operations, volunteer teams, and special events related to the ministry for students 7-12th grade. This role ensures that environments are welcoming, safe, and gospel-centered, helping to make it easier for the next generation to know Jesus.
Reports to: The Youth Director will report directly to the Family Pastor and will be responsible and submissive to the Directional Team, Lead Team, and Integrity Team at theCHURCH.
Areas of responsibility:
LEADERSHIP & VISION
Develop and communicate a clear vision for the Youth Ministry aligned with the mission and DNA of theCHURCH.
Build a culture centered on Jesus, discipleship, excellence, and authenticity.
Integrate the C4 Leadership pathway into gatherings, serving roles, and leadership development.
Students transitioning out of the Youth Ministry participate in Young Adults and other ministries of theCHURCH. Collaborate with the Young Adults Ministry
Oversee teaching content, worship flow, small groups, retreats, camps, outreach, and special events.
Recruit, develop, and schedule volunteer leaders across all youth ministry environments.
Plan, organize, and execute weekly services, small groups, events, and outreach
Ensure ministry culture reflects excellence, authenticity, and biblical truth
Teach and communicate the gospel clearly, consistently, and age-appropriately
Disciple students to grow in their faith, identity in Christ, and daily walk with Jesus
Foster an environment where students feel safe, known, challenged, and loved
Communication & Administration
Serve as a point of contact for students, young adults, parents, and volunteers.
Manage ministry calendar, budgets, curriculum, and communication
Maintain accurate records and follow safety and church policies
Collaborate with campus pastors, staff, and other ministries
Build intentional relationships with students and families
Partner with parents/guardians in the spiritual development of their students
Provide biblical instruction, prayer, and gospel-centered guidance as needed
